    2007 Sass Pinot Noir, Christi’s Cuvee

    Floral elegance in the aromas of violets, blackberries and spice. Blackberry-red cherry flavors with some truffly forest floor and pepper. Medium-bodied with a lingering finish. Elegance and finesse in this very feminine wine, with perfect balance of fruit, acidity and silky tannins. Should age extremely well. Drink now through 2018.

    2008 Sass Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

    Dark and red cherry, strawberry and black raspberry notes with a lovely, silky mouthfeel, perfect balance and a finish that just keeps going. The 2008 vintage is much-heralded. I’ll just say it was the best fruit I’ve worked with in nearly 20 years of winemaking. It's a wine of power and elegance. Drink now through 2018. Pommard, Wadenswil, and Dijon clones from five vineyards.

    2008 Sass Pinot Noir, Christi’s Cuvee

    Darker fruit notes of violets, lilac, black cherry, blackberry and plum mingle with some earth and a hint of white pepper. This is a blend of Pommard clone from our estate Wild Winds Vineyard and several clones from our partner Walnut Ridge Vineyard. It’ll age extremely well. Drink now through 2018.

    2008 Sass Pinot Noir, Wild Winds Vineyard

    Bright, intense flavors of red cherry, blackberry and strawberry with a hint of spice with fine tannin and a long finish. Elegance with muscle that is luscious now and will last 10-12 years.

    2008 Sass Pinot Noir, Walnut Ridge Vineyard

    Deep, concentrated dark cherry, blackberry and spice in aromas and flavors linger in the mouth. Layers and layers of complexity that blend power and finesse. Velvety in the mouth with a finish that lasts and lasts and lasts.

    2009 Sass Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley

    Bright red cherry, strawberry and fresh raspberry notes with great balance and lingering finish. Some white pepper notes underlie the fine-grained tannin and velvety mouthfeel. 2009 is a lush, come-hother vintage that is very attractive while very young. Drink now through 2017. Pommard, Wadenswil, and Dijon clones from five vineyards.

    Thirty percent Pinot Blanc for creamy undercurrents of poached pear flavor and texture, 30 percent chardonnay for structure and length, 30 percent Roussanne for mid-palate richness, and 10 percent gewurztraminer to focus the floral aromatics. Perfect for a glass of something off the beaten track.

    Sass 2007 Chardonnay, White Salmon Vineyard

    Aromas of fresh-baked bread, pie spice, russet apples and a hint of lime zest. It has a silky mouthfeel and long finish. Match with seafood, bread and cheese. From Washington state.
